"SpecialEffect is a charity that puts fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them to play video games. By using technology ranging from modified joypads to eye-control, they’re finding a way for people to play to the very best of their abilities.

But they’re not just doing it for fun. By leveling the playing field, they’re bringing families and friends together and having a profoundly positive impact on therapy, confidence and quality of life.

At any one time the charity is helping hundreds of people on an individual and ongoing basis across the UK. They also have an increasing global influence via online support to individuals and through collaboration with an increasing number of hardware and software developers.

It's so amazing opportunities and places like these exist. It helps people, makes a difference, as well as makes them feel included and not left out anymore... You never have to be held back. <3 You can find and get what fits your needs~!

And this is only just one great organization out there in the world... I'm going to continue sharing things that can help others, as I've said before. I have even more things ready to share over the next days that have come back into my mind from seeing all this.

This is all another reason that I say we're never truly alone, and you don't have to go through your life believing that anymore and continuing to suffer. It's all ok, and people are here to help~!
